Regularly scheduled nets supporting training, fellowship, and emergency readiness across Southwest Louisiana.

Purpose of Our Nets

SWLARC nets provide a structured opportunity for amateur radio operators to stay connected, practice operating procedures, test equipment, and maintain readiness for emergency communications.

Net Schedule

SWLARC Information Net

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Time: 8:00 PM (Local)

Repeater: 145.350 MHz

Tone: 103.5 Hz

Purpose: Announcements, check-ins, and general traffic

Training & Practice Net

Schedule: As announced

Repeater: Designated SWLARC repeater

Purpose: Net control training and operating practice

Emergency & Weather Nets

Status: Activated as needed

Repeaters: SWLARC systems

Purpose: Severe weather and emergency coordination

Who May Participate

All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome to check in to SWLARC nets. Visitors and newly licensed operators are encouraged to participate.

During directed nets, operators are asked to follow net control instructions and keep transmissions concise.
